A century-old, remodelled and fully furnished vacation house to rent

Our three-bedroom vacation rental house is in East River, a small fishing community on the beautiful Mahone Bay, on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, between Chester and Hubbards, and a 45-minute drive from Halifax.

From the house there are beautiful water views of the Bay. A peaceful two-minute walk down the lane brings you to a quiet, sandy beach and picturesque wharves belonging to local lobster fishing families. A larger beach is just a few more minutes walk away. Watch the herons fishing and the mackerel jumping for their dinner.

This vacation home is close to golf, theatre, museums, skiing, gift shops, restaurants, kayaking, sailing, hiking/biking trails, sightseeing, and so much more.

No smoking, pet-free.

Three bedrooms, two baths, sleeps up to 8 people.

Most rooms have telephone and internet access.

Children are welcome, and the house is family-friendly, with toys, games, playpen, highchair etc. and safety gates if required. Outside there is a swing set and a big rolling lawn, as well as attractive gardens.

Weekly and monthly rentals, off-season rates available.
